German Market Currywurst Recipe
A German classic straight from the famous markets. Start cooking delicious food in your kitchen.
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Currywurst Seasoning
- 2 Tbsp Oil
- 1 Large onion finely diced
- 2 Cloves garlic minced
- 2 Tbsp Tomato Paste
- 1/2 Cup Ketchup
- 1/2 Cup Stock
- 2 Tbsp Apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tsp Mustard
- Heat oil in a large frying pan over a medium heat. Add onion and slowly cook being careful not to brown. Cook until soft and translucent.
- Add the garlic and Currywurst seasoning stir well and cook for further 1 minutes. Add tomato paste and cook out for 2 minutes.
- Add Ketchup, apple cider vinegar, stock and mustard and cook for 5-10 minutes until thickened.
- Serve with some freshly grilled bratwurst sausages or your favourite grilled veg.
For an extra flavour bomb, add a little sprinkle of currywurst seasoning to the top of your dish.
