Harissa: Coming from North Africa, Harissa is a spicy mix of spices that blend together with oil to form a paste and use as a marinade.
Za’atar: Za’atar pairs well with hummus and has a slightly sour taste coming from the sumac.
Ras el Hanout: A warm blend of spices that combine together perfectly. A great choice to use for seasoning meat and vegetables.
Berbere: Traditionally used to season stew and make a curry-like flavour, this blend works well with burger patties.
Shwarma: A common sight in America now this not quite an African blend of spices is perfect to build your own delicious pittas at home.
