Mouth Watering Five Spice Stir Fry

  • 400 g Chicken or mushrooms Cut into chunks
  • 1/2 Tbsp Chinese Five Spice
  • Pinch Of Salt
  • 1 Red Pepper Thinly Sliced
  • 1 Onion Sliced
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 3 Tbsp Honey
  • Lime Juice
  • 1 Clove Of Garlic Diced
  • 1 Tsp Red Chilli Flakes
  1. Mix chicken, five spice and a pinch of salt together.
  2. Mix soy sauce, honey, lime, garlic and chilli flakes in a small bowl and set aside.
  3. Heat oil in a large frying pan over a medium to high heat. Add Chicken and cook until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from pan.
  4. Add onions and cook for a few minutes. Then add red pepper and cook for a further 5 minutes. Add chicken back to pan.
  5. Pour in soy sauce mixture and cook until sauce thickens.
  6. Serve with either rice or noodles.

Try adding a sprinkle of sesame seeds to give your dish a decorative finish and a slight crunch.
