Pizza Sauce Recipe
A simple to follow recipe for a delicious and fragrant pizza sauce. Alternatively use this sauce as a stir in for your favourite pasta sauce.

- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 large Onion diced
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 2 large Tomatoes cubed
- 1 tbsp MKS Italian Herbs
- 1 handful Basil leaves
- 1 Stock cube
- 400 g tin Chopped tomatoes
- 1 handful Fresh coriander finely chopped
- Salt to taste
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil over a medium heat in a medium sauce pan.
Add onions to the pan, season with salt and cook until soft and translucent. Then add the garlic and fresh tomatoes and cook for 1 minute.
Add the tinned tomatoes and vegetable stock and basil and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 20-25 minutes.
Blend the mixture until it forms a smooth consistency perfect for pizza sauce. If the mixture is too watery cook until you have desired consistency. Taste the mixture and add salt to season.
Add coriander and mix in well. Spread on top of your favourite pizza base or stir through a fresh batch of pasta to enjoy this sauce.
