Tandoori Chicken / Mushroom Perfect For Curries

Give your meat and mushrooms the right flavours for your curries with this tandoori chicken / Mushroom recipe.

  • 400 g Chicken Or Mushrooms cut into chunks
  • 2 Garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 – 1 Green chilli minced (depending on heat)
  • 50 ml Natural Yoghurt
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Chaat Masala Powder
  • A squeeze of lime juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Bamboo or metal skewers
  1. Mix everything apart from chicken or mushrooms in a large bowl.
  2. Add chicken or mushrooms to bowl and coat completely.
  3. Skewer 4-5 chunks and set aside.
  4. Heat BBQ or grill to medium heat.
  5. Add skewers and keep turning until cooked thoroughly.

A BBQ will give you a much better browning of the marinade and give you a smokey flavour which you will not get through regular grilling.
