Tandoori Chicken / Mushroom Perfect For Curries
Give your meat and mushrooms the right flavours for your curries with this tandoori chicken / Mushroom recipe.
- 400 g Chicken Or Mushrooms cut into chunks
- 2 Garlic cloves minced
- 1/2 – 1 Green chilli minced (depending on heat)
- 50 ml Natural Yoghurt
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Chaat Masala Powder
- A squeeze of lime juice
- Salt to taste
- Bamboo or metal skewers
- Mix everything apart from chicken or mushrooms in a large bowl.
- Add chicken or mushrooms to bowl and coat completely.
- Skewer 4-5 chunks and set aside.
- Heat BBQ or grill to medium heat.
- Add skewers and keep turning until cooked thoroughly.
A BBQ will give you a much better browning of the marinade and give you a smokey flavour which you will not get through regular grilling.
