Tandoori Chicken / Mushroom Perfect For Curries

Give your meat and mushrooms the right flavours for your curries with this tandoori chicken / Mushroom recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • 400 g Chicken or mushrooms cut into chunks
  • 2 Garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 - 1 Green chilli minced depending on heat
  • 50 ml Natural yoghurt
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Chaat masala powder
  • A squeeze of lime juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Bamboo or metal skewers

Instructions
 

  • Mix everything apart from chicken or mushrooms in a large bowl.
  • Add chicken or mushrooms to bowl and coat completely.
  • Skewer 4-5 chunks and set aside.
  • Heat BBQ or grill to medium heat.
  • Add skewers and keep turning until cooked thoroughly.

Notes

A BBQ will give you a much better browning of the marinade and give you a smokey flavour which you will not get through regular grilling.
