Our Best Recipe For Pizza Sauce

Pizza has got to be one of the most popular foods throughout the world. You can visit almost any city and find a delicious pizza. That is why we have put together this recipe of our favourite recipe for pizza sauce.

The crucial element to a great pizza sauce is the tomatoes. Tinned tomatoes are one of the few foods that can taste amazing out of a tin. Plus, making your tinned tomatoes can be a time-consuming process.

I would personally avoid the thirty pence tins from your local supermarket. These tend to have added salt and additives that you can avoid by choosing a slightly more expensive brand.

Choose The Freshest Ingredients

Choose from a range of herb blends to create a delicious recipe in your home.

Choosing The Freshest Ingredients

As with all my recipes, I suggest using the freshest ingredients. Ripe tomatoes and fresh garlic from your local farmers market are one of the best ways to improve your pizza sauce flavour.

The pizza topping sauce recipe uses a blend of onion, garlic and fresh tomatoes with fresh basil and coriander for an additional flavour kick.

I always add MKS Italian herbs as this gives an authentic flavour traditional with pizza and pasta sauces. Alternatively, you can use any brand of Italian herbs. However, these may not have the same depth of flavour that is associated with MKS Italian herbs.

The best thing about homemade recipes for pizza sauce is you can adjust the flavours to your preferences. I personally love the taste of garlic, so I tend to add a bit more. However, that can be a bit overwhelming for some.
