Roasted Chilli Kale Chips

Kale Chip Recipe

Well, what a start to 2021 we have had. Stick to your New Years resolutions this year and follow this healthy roasted Kale Chip Recipe for Veganuary

Kale is an extremely nutritious leafy vegetable that can become an easy addition to your diet. Our kale chip recipe is a delicious option for your home and will allow you to create a nutritious snack for the whole family.

Boost Of Flavour

In this kale chip recipe, I like to use chilli flakes because it gives the leafy green a boost of flavour. But these kale chips can be modified to your preferences, get creative. Try adding a pinch of cumin or a dash of garlic powder to get the flavours you love.

I would recommend adding the salt in this recipe as it draws out the flavours from the kale that I find reminiscent of Chinese takeaway seaweed. However, if you don’t want to add the salt, leave it out of the recipe.

Recipe Tips

Once you have added the salt, oil and chilli flakes, mix it well to ensure that all of the kale has an oil coating. If you want to take this recipe to the next level, you can try roasting these chips with coconut oil instead of olive oil.

Additionally, be careful to monitor your kale as you are cooking. I recommend setting a timer as the delicious kale chips can burn if left unattended.

My partner loves this recipe. That is why it is now a weekly addition to our Veganuary diet. We hope you love it just as much as us and don’t forget to let us know how your delicious kale chips turn out.
